Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Summit Jiu-Jitsu! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our services, including classes, training, events, and our gym facilities. By enrolling in or using any of our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using our services.

1. Membership and RegistrationEligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or guardian to participate in our classes. For minors, a parent or guardian must sign the membership agreement.Account Information: You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration, including personal details, payment information, and emergency contact information.Membership Plans: Memberships may include different pricing tiers based on duration (monthly, annual) and access to various services (group classes, private sessions, open mat). Fees are subject to change, and you will be notified in advance of any changes.

2. Payments and CancellationsPayment: Membership fees are due in advance, either as a one-time payment or on a recurring basis as outlined in your membership plan. Payments must be made via accepted methods (e.g., credit/debit card, bank transfer, etc.).Cancellation: Memberships may be canceled according to the terms outlined in your membership agreement. Cancellations must be submitted in writing or through our specified process. Some memberships may require a notice period (e.g., 30 days).Refunds: We do not offer refunds for unused services, except where required by law. In the event of a gym closure or other exceptional circumstances, we may offer credit or a prorated refund at our discretion.

3. Conduct and Gym RulesRespectful Behavior: All members are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow participants, instructors, and staff. Any form of discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.Dress Code: Proper training attire, including a gi (for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes) or other approved clothing, is required. For hygiene and safety, all members must ensure that their gi, rash guards, and other clothing are clean and in good condition.Health and Fitness: You are responsible for ensuring that you are in good health to participate in classes. If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns, you must inform your instructor and seek medical advice prior to training. Summit Jiu-Jitsu is not responsible for any injuries incurred during training.Personal Items: Summit Jiu-Jitsu is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings, including clothing, gear, or valuables, while at the gym.

4. Liability Waiver and Assumption of RiskBy participating in classes, events, or activities at Summit Jiu-Jitsu, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks involved in practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and related martial arts. These activities may result in injury, illness, or even death. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation.You agree to release and hold harmless Summit Jiu-Jitsu, its instructors, employees, and affiliates from any liability for injury, loss, or damage that may occur while using our services or facilities.

5. Privacy and Data UsageWe collect and process personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. By enrolling in our services, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your personal data as described in the policy.We may use your contact information to send updates, promotions, and other information related to our services. You can opt-out of promotional communications at any time.6. Photography and Media ReleaseSummit Jiu-Jitsu may take photographs or video recordings during classes, events, or other activities for marketing, promotional, or instructional purposes. By participating, you grant Summit Jiu-Jitsu permission to use any media in which you appear, without compensation or prior notice. If you do not wish to appear in any media, please inform the staff in advance.

7. Modifications to TermsSummit Jiu-Jitsu reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website or communicated to members. Continued use of our services after such modifications will be considered acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Termination of MembershipSummit Jiu-Jitsu reserves the right to terminate or suspend your membership at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in unsafe or inappropriate behavior, or fail to pay membership fees. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

9. Governing LawThese Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of [Insert jurisdiction, e.g., the state or country in which the gym is located]. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts in that jurisdiction.
